$200 + GRANNY = $331
yeah, not the best I could have done (touched $370 at one point) but I'll take the 2-3BB/100 on top of the 5-10BB/100 in bonus anytime. any idea about the next reload date? last I think was back in November 04.
I also wanted to comment about how the Paradise whore fits in with Homer's "Building A Bankroll" thread. After reading through this numerous times as well as several followup threads, the advice to take an initial $100 bankroll and start with the crpyto sites may be less than optimal. since the crypto minimum limits are 1/2, the RoR with a 50BB bankroll may be too high for a novice whore (who is also likely a novice player as well) to jump into without reservation. I certainly have had my share of $100 swings on the likes of Interpoker and Poker Plex, but what is a minor dent in my bankroll could be a detrimental experience for a beginning player, who may get permanently soured on the game itself from one bad episode. if it was my suggestion, I would not recommend pursuing a whore lifestyle until reaching a minimum bankroll of $200 (instead of $100), and then STARTING with Paradise at the 50c/$1 limits and a comfortable 200BB cushion. with just $100, there are perhaps many different arguments as to which bonus provides the highest RATE or return in relation to the lowest RISK of ruin. even if violating homer's "not maximizing a particular bonus" rule, it wouldn't necessarily be wrong to suggest that someone put it into paradise and earn only $50 (yet relatively safely), rather than interpoker to earn $90 with higher volatility. if a starting player truly cannot start with $200 and insists on a maximum $100 initial bankroll, then there is more short-term profitability with casino whoring instead of poker. blackjack bonuses have a higher theoretical earnings rate and is also easier to follow using a static basic strategy chart rather than a multitude of Hold Em positioning situations. also, any player with "only" $100 total for online poker should probably not be bonus-focused to begin with. I think these players would "save" more at the rakeless microlimit tables than they would "earn" risking a complete bustout chasing a bonus they are underfunded to pursue. |
