Default When you DON\'T want a calling station at your table

Sorry, I've just got to vent for a second -- and this is not a bad beat story in the usual sense.

$3-6, full table, casino has a high-hand promotion going every hour worth $300. Both cards in your hand must play, but you don't have to go to the river.

I'm in the big blind with 9-6, flop comes 9-9-9. If I can get everyone to fold here, I've got the high hand (with about three minutes left in the hour). They're liberal about letting players give hints, so I bet and say to the table, "Get out." Everyone does except one guy. Turn is a 5, so both of my cards still play and I'm good. I bet again and say, "Don't do it. Get out."

He calls, saying to the guy next to him, "He's probably got quads." River is a Queen. My kicker doesn't play anymore. I don't think he even had a pair. $300 down the drain.

I know it's his money to put in, but am I wrong to be pissed at him? Everyone else at the table was.
