It seemed like they gratuitously threw around poker jargon and it was delivered quite artificially:
"I'm not trying to put you on a hand" "That six minted me. I've got - a set!" "It's a dead hand. I want my chips back." And re-raising preflop with deuces!? That guy deserved to go broke, fixed game or not. Anyone notice how Madsen said that he (the mark) had "23 and change" after he had just reraised preflop to $4000...this means that we're supposed to believe that the guy turned $8000 into $27000, and so did Matador, who had bought in with a $10,000 chip. So the mark is allowed to -triple- his money and then some before they break him?? Ahh, screw it, I'm still going to watch it every week just because it has Mr Blonde in it. |
