I never know what to do when the flop hits when you are BB and have seen the flop for free.
Here is a recent example: This was the 2nd hand of a Party 10+1. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (10 handed) converter saw flop|saw showdown CO (t800) Button (t790) SB (t785) Hero (t800) UTG (t825) UTG+1 (t800) UTG+2 (t800) MP1 (t800) MP2 (t800) MP3 (t800) Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, UTG+2 calls t15, 1 fold, MP2 calls t15, 2 folds, Button calls t15, SB completes, Hero checks. Turn: This is the only bet I'm happy with, but maybe if I'd known I was going to be making it I should have bet more on the flop. River: I thought I had the best hand. Is this bet too big? Since he's going to lay it down anyway if he missed his draws. Since this was a 10+1, I was would not have been surprised if the button had showndown a pair of Jacks. Perhaps I was underestimating my opposition. I'd be interested in any comments. Thanks. |
