Roy Cooke's new Card Player
column argues that, because of the poker boom, there's now more money to be made in no-limit cash games and tournaments than in limit games. He writes: "If I were starting out now and looking to play poker for a living, I would focus on no-limit hold’em, both cash games and tourneys. The ability to gain an edge from the inexperienced players currently flooding the poker world is much greater in no-limit than in limit."
I'm playing 10-20 and 20-40 limit games. I have never tried no-limit cash games, as I figured that they'd burn out pretty quicky and it seems like proper strategy would be very boring. Am I missing the boat?
