[/ QUOTE ] I wish I could get crockpot over to this thread because he ran numbers on it last year, but a typical MLB regular gets 30% hits of balls put into play. Guys like Ichiro and Manny have 33-34% consistently. Beltran initially in Houston last yearwas at 20%. Crock's analysis with a normal H% was something like a .315 BA with a ridiculous amount of count stats. |
