You're definitely right Buzz this would be a player dependent play. Reraising to get it heads up would be a play I might make if the table was fairly tight (ie people not cold calling 2 or 3 bets, just because they have 6789 "hey I might make a high and a low"). Also I think reraising would establish you as the agressor. The guy is probably raising with a suited A2 or maybe if he's really maniacal, something like KKQJ with a suit maybe. The first one you're slightly ahead and the second one you're way ahead. Also you're basically even to something like A24J suited to the Ace. You're only really in trouble to something like AA25, but that's a freak occurance. As long as you can be fairly sure you can get it heads up, I would probably raise in this situation. Since the dead money in the pot (even though there's not much of it) plus your position and assumed role of aggressor would probably make this a profitable play.
