online poker, faking weak bluff
I've read somewhere that a very quick call indicates someone being on a draw and so on...
I don't know, I don't pay attention to if it takes a short/long time for someone to make up their mind on their decisions online (maybe I should). My reasoning for this is: A) they might have checked the buttons for their next move. B) they might be multi-tabling Lately I've been thinking about it the other way around, If I'm HU and have flopped a monster against a passive player and bet the flop and get called I don't want my opponent to fold to my turn/river bet. If the turn comes higher than the flop I sometimes wait some time before I bet out to indicate that I maybe had TP on the flop and that I'm now afraid of being beat. Just to encourage my opponent to call with a weak hand. What do you say? Do you think this affects how people play? Should I consider how much time it takes for my opponent to make his desicion? Or is the whole question irrelevant? Regards- Aron |
