Default 2/4 -- value bet 2nd pair on the river?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

The table seemed pretty good, though I only watched a hand or two before I posted. Both river opponents are potential soft spots, and MP2 is down to his last $23.

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $2.

Flop: (13.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)

Turn: (8.75 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls.

River: (11.75 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero ???

I'm still settling into 2/4. My instincts might be a bit off kilter. Do we bet this river, and are we happy folding to a c/r? Even if it comes from a shortstacked MP2? Input is appreciated.
