I agree with what you have to say here. Scum was probably a little over the top.

However, it does behoove him to do this anyway in order to at least make an effort to keep his players happy and keep them playing under his affiliation (and this, keep some affiliate money rolling in).

Very true. I think it is every affiliates job to do what is necessary to keep their customers happy and playing under them.
