psychology of UB miniview

I recently started using UB's miniview, and I find that I am playing worse. I'm having more trouble telling opponents apart and getting reads on them. I think this is because I tend to associate each player with a particular point in space, and the smaller real estate (and the fact that they are all at the same position vertically) makes it harder for me to distinguish between them and remember how they played previous hands. It's also harder for me to tell them apart because the miniview isn't able to display the longer names completely.

Has anyone else noticed this? If so, how long did it take to overcome it?
