Ballys is right accross the street from Belagio. A nice walk on the bridge that crosses over the strip gives you a great view. Ballys/Paris are hooked together and they are very nice places that are much cheaper than Belagio.

Also, if you get there a couple of days early, there are some daily tourneys that are relatively cheap that you can get in some good practice. (Golden Nuggett has two per day, Luxor has one and Sahara has one)
