Default What\'s the right price to call 3 bets with Tens?

Hollywood Park Casino Los Angeles, CA. 40/80 or 20/40. 2nd position loose aggressive player raises. Immediately to his left ABC player 3 bets. Player after player calls 3 bets to me on the button. I have tens and immediately muck. It occurs to me later that the SB and BB were very loose players who frequently played their blinds regardless of action to call. Later, I realize that calling with those tens meant that I would be seeing a flop with 7 or 8 people 3 bet preflop. Notwithstanding all the logic that those tens are underdogs and could flop a dominated situation (set over set) or a trap draw, what is the right price to play those tens? If not that scenario to gamble, than when? After some deliberation, my conclusion was that I should probably call 2 out of 10 times or so. Any thoughts?
