My First MTT win --- Three key hands (Little long)
OK, so it was only the $11 Party 99 player max tourney, but it still feels pretty good. Anyway, I've been mainly lurking and what I have learned on here has truly helped me up to this point. Here are three key hands that I's like a different perspective on. And no, I can't get any converter to work either.
Hand #1 Down to about 20 top 10 pay average stack about T7,000. Villian was playing well, never showing down bad hands, but never trying to make much of a play on anyone either. #Game No : 3216580347 ***** Hand History for Game 3216580347 ***** NL Texas Hold'em Trny:18355212 Level:10 Blinds (300/600) - Saturday, December 17, 13:14:39 EDT 2005 Table Multi-Table(542823) Table #2 (Real Money) Seat 9 is the button Total number of players : 7 Seat 1: Hero ( $10636 ) Seat 3: UTG+1 ( $2820 ) Seat 5: MP ( $10495 ) Seat 7: CO ( $6380 ) Seat 9: Button ( $11527 ) Seat 10: SB ( $4770 ) Seat 2: UTG ( $2990 ) Trny:18355212 Level:10 Blinds (300/600) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Hero in BB [ Jd Kc ] 4 folds Button calls [600]. SB calls [300]. Hero checks. ** Dealing Flop ** [ Qs, 7s, 7h ] SB checks. Hero checks. Button checks. ** Dealing Turn ** [ Kd ] SB [900]. Hero raises [2000]. Button calls [2000]. SB is all-In [3270] Hero folds. cloudyday111 folds. I just know Villian has a 7 and reluctently lay this down. I have no idea what the Button has. Should I just call the initial river bet, or was the raise ok? Hand #2 Final Table - 7 left #Game No : 3216752019 ***** Hand History for Game 3216752019 ***** NL Texas Hold'em Trny:18355212 Level:12 Blinds (500/1000) - Saturday, December 17, 13:54:38 EDT 2005 Table Multi-Table(542823) Table #1 (Real Money) Seat 3 is the button Total number of players : 7 Seat 2: CO ( $5093 ) Seat 3: Buton ( $19734 ) Seat 5: SB ( $14334 ) Seat 6: BB ( $8594 ) Seat 8: Hero UTG ( $19272 ) Seat 9: UTG+1 ( $12830 ) Seat 10: MP ( $19143 ) Trny:18355212 Level:12 Blinds (500/1000) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Hero [ Kh Qs ] Hero UTG raises [2000]. 5 folds BB calls [1000]. ** Dealing Flop ** [ 6h, 9s, Ac ] BB checks. Hero checks. ** Dealing Turn ** [ 7h ] BB checks. Hero checks. ** Dealing River ** [ Qh ] BB checks. Hero checks. I know this seems very weak tight, but I hate to run into someone trying to get tricky with an Ace, and with my current chip stack am willing to win a small pot. This seem ok? Hand #3 #Game No : 3216844044 ***** Hand History for Game 3216844044 ***** NL Texas Hold'em Trny:18355212 Level:13 Blinds (750/1500) - Saturday, December 17, 14:15:38 EDT 2005 Table Multi-Table(542823) Table #1 (Real Money) Seat 10 is the button Total number of players : 5 Seat 2: SB ( $8958 ) Seat 6: BB ( $12188 ) Seat 8: Hero UTG ( $14179 ) Seat 9: CO ( $35320 ) Seat 10: Button ( $28355 ) Trny:18355212 Level:13 Blinds (750/1500) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Hero [ 9s 9c ] Hero UTG raises [3600]. 1 Fold CO calls [3600]. SB folds BB calls [2100]. ** Dealing Flop ** [ 4h, 2h, 5d ] BB is all-In [8588] Hero is all-In [10579] This looked all the world like a flush draw to me, and the CO had been really lagging it up with his big stack, so there is a good chance he is calling either way. Am I far enough ahead to make this call, or do I fold hoping CO busts him? Thanks for reading. BT |
