What am i doing wrong? - Blind steals at 3/6
What am i doing wrong with my blind steals at 3/6? When i filter my PT stats for my attempts to steal i show a profit of only .015 BB / hand, which has a negligable impact on my win rate (.0015 BB / 100). Either i'm wasting a lot of mental energy playing marginal hands or there is room for improvement post-flop. All i can figure out is that i'm seeing showdown a bit too often.
Att. To Steal Blinds: 40.95% Steal Success: No flop %: 28.7 I Fold %: 26.0 WwoSD %: 47.3 WSD %: 26.7 W$SD %: 49.3 After a blind steal raise, i generally autobet the flop. The players at 3/6 aren't terribly agressive blind defeners and rarely get tricky. When they bet back at me, they usually have something (often top pair). Turn play: If i have a pair or better, oesd, or flush draw: -if he checks, i usualy bet. -if he bets turn, i usually call. If i have nothing on a scary board: -if he checks, i usually take the free card. -if he bets turn, i usually fold. River play: If i have bottom / small pair: -if he checks, i usually check behind. if it looks like he missed a straigh/flush draw i bet. -if he bets, i fold unless he's really agressive If i have 2nd highest pair: -if he bets, i usually call -if he checks, i check behind if he raised on the flop or turn. i bet if he just called down. If i have top pair or better: -if he bets, i raise if i have good kicker, call otherwise on an uncoordinated board -if he checks, i usually bet I really have trouble when the river card makes 4 flush or 4 connected. My hand reading skills aren't great. But at party 3/6 people do such silly sheit... |
