Re: turned trips/suspect kicker
I would go for a check-raise, that should tell the button what you have and you can see how he reacts. He could have a set and have you drawing to only an Ace or 6, very hard to tell.

Re: turned trips/suspect kicker
I would bet out. Button's raise could be a free card play, and it would suck if this got checked through. If he raises you again, then call down.

Final Pot: 12.50 BB Main Pot: 12.50 BB, between Button and Hero. > Split: Button (6.25 BB), Hero (6.25 BB). Results: Hero shows Ad 6s (three of a kind, aces). Button shows Ah 7h (three of a kind, aces). Outcome: Button wins 6.25 BB. Hero wins 6.25 BB. I took a look at Button's aggro stats, and they were well over 3 on every street. Seemed to suggest a good chance that he'd keep betting even if he was on a draw. Might have been a mistake, but it turned out ok in the end. I would have bet out for sure against a less agressive opponent. |
