I'm doing this right after I get back from the Bahamas where i waste my pile of money . I'm going to review every hh i play until i'm satisfied with how I'm playing, i'll most likely be hiring a coach.

Re: Getting Better at Poker In How Ever Many Days it Takes Challenge
This is the first SNG challenge that I've ever read that I thought was a good idea.
[ QUOTE ] i think that the thing that you, me, and others forget is that many don't care at all about being good at poker, just about big piles of money. big piles of money don't have a prerequisite of being good at poker, not even in poker. [/ QUOTE ] I actually play poker for fun. Don't get me wrong, the money motivates me to put in many more hours than I would normally, but I still view it as a fun game that happens to earn a lot of money (if you get really good at it) |

Yeh I'm doing some work on my game now. I'd like to hit $200/hr, and I don't think that's going to happen unless I'm playing $215s. Got a long way to go.

Re: Getting Better at Poker In How Ever Many Days it Takes Challenge
hmmm, I think my goal is still learning self awareness. I pretty much know what my options are in ant givin situation, I just don't always think it through to arive at the best one. Sometimes I'm playing through a fog that obscures all the finer points. I really need to learn enough self awareness to at least realize when it's happening.
As I've said, knowing how to play at a high level is much easier than consistantly doing it |
