Aces flop nut flush draw
$1/$2 No limit at the Borgata
Villain has about $300 and Hero covers Folded to MP who makes it $15 (standard) Villain in cutoff calls I make it $65 with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Both call Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] MP checks, Villain moves in, Hero? Standard call? |

Re: Aces flop nut flush draw
yes - I expect to see a J w/ a flush draw more than a set here. Plus, you have outs if behind

Re: Aces flop nut flush draw
You're getting about 1.8:1 on your call, here. ($430:$235)
Some odds: vs. JJ : 1.94:1 (66:34) vs. K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2.15:1 (68/32) vs. Two Pair: 1:1 (50/50) vs. K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Jx : 1:6 (14/86) vs. Bluff : 1:49 (2/98) So, as you can see, if we're behind, we're about a 2:1 dog, which is pretty close to the odds we're getting. Other than that, we're either a coin flip, or a dominating favorite. I think you definately see a draw or a hand weaker than a set often enough to make this a pretty easy call. |
