5/10 river fold
Both villains were very loose passive, i basically sat at the table because of them. They were terrible.
UTG Limps, folded to me in the SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], BB checks flop 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I bet, both call. Turn 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I bet, both call River T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I bet, BB raises, UTG cold calls, I fold. Thoughts on all streets as i think this hand is ugly, kinda. |

Re: 5/10 river fold
Couldn't he have a lower two pair? I think this is an easy call on the river. The rest is good.

Re: 5/10 river fold
Fold preflop, this is a trash hand. Almost 5:1 isn't enough.
How loose and how passive are these guys? Does UTG limp PF and cold call two on the river with an overpair? Or top pair? Against sane opponents this doesn't look good, but against looney bins I want to see a showdown. Terrible players usually aren't creative enough to hold off on raising with the straight till the river. Terrible players make weird bluff raises. If neither has a straight, I like your chances. And you're getting 11:1. Call. -Brian |

Re: 5/10 river fold
I call preflop with this at sites with a 1/2 blind structure at 5/10.
I think you have to call the river. UTG's cold call probably doesn't mean much, and you are closing the action. |

Re: 5/10 river fold
my rational was this is how a loose/passive slowplays a flopped flush.
His river raise is never a bluff, as far as I could tell, so he must think he has the best hand. On a board that scary, I'm pretty sure that means he can beat top two. Anyone agree? |
