This is actually a good list. The few pop songs I havent heard, I can imagine that they are pretty decent for what they are.

"Marching Bands of Manhattan" - Death Cab For Cutie This surreal song reaffirms the reasons we forfeit backyards and big kitchens and struggle daily to live in Manhattan. 6. "Bad Boyfriend" - Garbage Singer Shirley Manson grumbles naughty guys have more fun. 7. "Testify" - Common Has all the makings of a suspense tale - a drug arrest, a hysterical wife, a prosecutor out for blood and the requisite twist ending. 8. "Welcome to Jamrock" - Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley In his scratchy, ominous voice, Marley unleashes an SOS for his native Jamaica. 9. "Little Sparrow" - Bettye Lavette This comeback R&B singer reinvents Dolly Parton's he's-a-lowdown-cheater anthem as dark, brooding blues. 161. "My Boyfriend's Back" - the Raveonettes As good as any girl band ever sang. 162. "Spiderman" - Candy Band Their speedy version of the superhero theme rocks for all ages. 163. "Love Will Tear Us Apart Again" - Nouvelle Vague Bossa-nova'd pop version of dark classic. 164. "I Got a Woman" - John Mayer Trio After hearing Mayer's version of this Ray Charles song, suddenly Kanye West's "Gold Digger" also based on "I Got A Woman" doesn't sound all that fresh. 165. "Let It Rock" - Rolling Stones Keith Richards, whose personal guitar hero is Chuck Berry, pays homage to the seminal rock pioneer. 166. "Blowing in the Wind" - Dolly Parton This collaboration with bluegrass trio Nickel Creek finds Parton's crystal-clear soprano in top form.
