Strange mouse question

I multi-table on Stars, and have been noticing my mouse cursor mysteriously (and frequently) jumping to the corner of the upper-right-most table I have open. Anyone encounter such a thing? Can it be stopped?

If the mouse is a cheap optical mouse this could happen.
