Obviously not? In my opinion, while there were a lot of really good cd's this year, there weren't any so amazingly good that they are clearly better than everything else. [/ QUOTE ] As usual, gorham >>> istewart. |

Kicking Television [/ QUOTE ] Its great, but putting a live at #1 is lame. [ QUOTE ] Illinois [/ QUOTE ] This was probably the best rock album of the year, but I still like CYHSY (and in case we die) more. [ QUOTE ] I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning [/ QUOTE ] OMFG. A) You called me gay for like 5 months for liking that album. B) No. Its good, but several were significantly better. [ QUOTE ] Late Registration [/ QUOTE ] I dont know anywhere near enough about non-rock to comment. |

Re: Clap Your Hands Say Yeah + weird concidence
Hey, anyone got the Detroit Cobras CD "Baby"? I've been listening to a track, "I Wanna Holler (But the Town's Too Small), and it's great. I read the Detroit Cobras as a some kind of neo-cover band but wanted a OOT review before I buy this one. Not even publicly reviewed on Amazon. Maybe last great album from what I agree was a great year.

Re: Clap Your Hands Say Yeah + weird concidence
They're album names. I'm sure you've heard of Nine Inch Nails (With Teeth). You might have heard of DangerDoom if you're an adult swim guy. Get Behind Me Satan is the White Stripes. Arular's been getting a bit of airplay, it was on Entourage. You might have heard of Fugazi (the Evens are a side project of the lead singer). Aside from that, it's pretty easy not to have heard any of them.
