weird hand vs a lag
villain here is 44/20/6, although i didn't know this at the time of this hand since i had just sat down with him and had no data. knowing what i know now, i probably would have put him all in. i really feel like he had either tptk or a smaller overpair or something. if he flopped a set or straight, why not checkraise it? he also had a fondness for overbetting pots, as i saw later on, though he didn't do it do this degree! (oh, and i know i should have raised to $4 pre)

Re: weird hand vs a lag
If you call here, push. I call this if a loose read is available, at the time you had none, so I respect villain's raise and drop.

Re: weird hand vs a lag
No read so its safe to drop. With the read instacall, maybe even raise.
