Seriously, it is a moot point although not because you wouldn't play there. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Such a game would never last; the bad players would go broke in record time from pushing 1,000 dollar pots back and forth but only collecting 950. If the game were a one time affair and the opposition was weak you'd do OK, especially since your results for N-L sessions are often decided by that one big pot. Before I moved to this area I would drive here on weekends from NYC to play. A 10% rake (max. $4), gas, meals, rooms, miscelaneous - now THAT is a rake. And still I won a fortune - back in the days when it was common to have players at 5-10 Omaha roll there cards and announce "full house" when there was no pair on board. |
