Re: $5/10 Check-Up and Interesting Hands
kane,
I just switched party accounts, and if you email cashier@pay-pro.com (not sure, but something like that) to reopen your neteller account and raise your limits, they will ask for you to call them, and after like 24 hours, they will close neteller on your old accounts (pp, empire) and open it up on your party account. And instantly can transfer a real bankroll. |

Re: $5/10 Check-Up and Interesting Hands
I don't get the small flop bet in hand 3. Why not just check or bet the pot? Pardon me, I don't play this high.

Re: $5/10 Check-Up and Interesting Hands
I agree with hands 2 & 3 being folds but does anyone think the first hand is a call? If I have been playing fast and taking down a lot of small pots with continuation bets and folding to raises on the turn recently then I would consider calling this river push. Especially if I thought SB was looking for a place to play back. I know J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img],T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or a set is a possibility but are they likely to check the river looking to raise? If Hero has a mediocre hand like Qx or medium pocket pair, which he will some % of the time, the river is going to be checked behind. Also some of the times SB has a big hand he will CR the turn. I don't think there's too many legitimate hands hero can beat but depending on my image at the table 3 to 1 may be too tempting to pass up.

Re: $5/10 Check-Up and Interesting Hands
hand 1, i dont really like that river value bet... bad cards come off and now you mightve inspired a bluff and layed yourself a really good price, but youre not calling. i still fold it.
hand 2, i dont like that bet size on the flop... checking or underbetting or overbetting or anything besides pot would prob be better. now, fold i guess... or slam it in there and take the worst of it. capped game anyway, i might go all in, fvck it. hand 3, fine. |

Re: $5/10 Check-Up and Interesting Hands
maybe this is a silly question.. but why did you only bet 50 in hand 3 into 135?

Re: $5/10 Check-Up and Interesting Hands
Hand 1
I think we're behind about 75% of the time here if not more, i think it's a fold getting 2-1 seems like some sort of missed draw that hit 2 pair, i dont think Ax of hearts make a raise here, so i guess it's aces up, set, kings up, and whiffed draw in that order Hand 2 Looks like KJ of hearts here, OOP i look for a better spot, push 20% fold 80%, play with the numbers here i guess Hand 3 Looks ultra standard, you think he did this with hearts? I respect your play kane, i probably don't have a VPIP as high as yours at 5-10 although i do try to stay in the 25/18 range 6 handed, i think thats the problem with hand 2, your opponent likely gives you very little credit for much of anything here |

Re: $5/10 Check-Up and Interesting Hands
I have to disagree with most of you on hand 2.
If you were playing aggressive at all it's a pretty easy push imo. With a raise that big you gotta think theres a good chance the guy is on a drawing hand also. If you're wrong and he has top pair its pretty much a flip and it's great for your image in further hands. |
