Re: ($11) trips against 3-flush all-in on turn
Completing on level 1 with any two is definately ok. As someone pointed out earlier you are getting 11 to 1 here. Generally speaking I like to get hands over with quickly when I am out of position. A pot sized bet on the flop is probably correct to knock out flush draws and make anyone else define their hand for you.

Re: ($11) trips against 3-flush all-in on turn
I agree with potting (or maybe check raising) the flop. If someone has a queen you will hear about it and if you are called you have to put him on a queen or a flush and you are much less likely to get stacked. The big bet on the turn to me is a waste unless you think he can fold trips. Not many players can do that in $11s
Note that if I paired my lower card, I might play this a bit differently since there is a better chance of stacking someone who holds top pair and a good kicker. Care to tell us how it turned out? |
