Hey All,
Recently, When I have AA-QQ I'll raise 150, and if I get callers, on the flop I'll push if no overcards hit. I know there are flaws to this tactic, but I'm not seeing them very clearly. What do you recommend I do? This is at the $11 sng's. I'm betting that some are going to call me weak. You might be right. Shooby |

You're letting too much money go.
For the times they hit top pair and want to see the river, you don't give them the chance. And when they have a set, they call. So, you lose the most and win the least most of the time. I like to work their chips in. Bet 2/3 pot, bet pot, standard stuff. Try to tie them to the pot slowly. (If the board is really draw heavy, bet more of course, but don't put yourself in a poor situation by overbetting the flop when only hands that beat you will call.) Disclaimer: There are times, and espically at the 11s, when people will call with top pair. It happens a lot actually. But I think you'll gain more chips building the pot slower rather than just getting all of your chips in the middle the second the flop comes down. |

Consider my post not advice. I think you can give a GERNERALIZED reply. Like mine. I think that pushing by 2-7xpot throws too many chips out the window on an uncoordinated board - in general. |
