My guess from top to bottom is that we're about 8th, probably...
The countries with the largest populations will have the largest standing armies - followed by countries who have to maintain combat like readiness... I'm not counting our nuclear arsenal because quite frankly, I think it's unusable - the M.A.D. doctrine is a pretty damned solid one.
