How do you play it differently?
75 person 20$ buy-in live tournament
30-50 players remaining Avg. Stack = around 12,000 Hero = 13,000 Villain = 8400 Blinds = 300/600 Hero in cutoff with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] raises to 1,800 Villain (BB) calls 1,800 Pot = around 4,000 Flop : 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villain (BB) bets 1,500 Villain not overly loose and has a knowledge of no-limit (i.e. not a fish, but definitely has been making loose calls / questionable plays = not a strong player) Hero Raises to 4,000 Villain Re-raises all-in to 7,600 (3,600 on top) Hero can fold and leave hand with 6,000 in chips or call, possibly losing and leaving 2,400 remaining Call the all-in? |

Re: How do you play it differently?
I'm not calling the all-in (because I already folded to the flop bet).

Re: How do you play it differently?
Don't give this guy too much credit, he'll stab at the pot. I thought i had the better hand, but I layed it down and showed AK suited. Well, He showed down QJ off suit and I go Helmuth. Am I too tight for tournaments? Knew I had the best hand but laid it down to a value bet on the river.
