Re: Did I get a little too fast with my set?
No, especially considering stack sizes. SB only had $37, so you didn't risk much (although MP could've called, I guess risky push when maybe a smaller raise to isolate would've worked--but if MP w/ $180 pushes, you may be forced to call anyway).
Even if you're up against made straight, you have outs. Hopefully SB is pushing flush draw. |

Re: Did I get a little too fast with my set?
of course you want MP's stack here but you also dont want him drawing to a flush in a dry side pot
second option is to raise to maybe 90 and get it all in on the turn but i dont see what he calls for 90 that he doesnt call a push with |

Re: Did I get a little too fast with my set?
You played it g00t. Somebody needs a second best hand to call and they aren't always going to have it. You do not want villain 'catching up' so I like getting it in on the flop.

Re: Did I get a little too fast with my set?
You can't raise any less, so this is a good line. Raising to 90 leaves your opponent with half his stack in, so if he's calling that he's going to call a push.
