call, hit the 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], go allin. Poker's easy.
That really stinks, but there's really no way you can call this unless you know villian to be an idiot |

fold, move on. [/ QUOTE ] That was my first instinct too, but then I realized that since the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] was out there it became much less likely that he had a flush, since even at 6-max, the only possible hand he could have had that would raise UTG that made a flush was KQ [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], and even that isn't very likely. Do you see the possibility of AxK [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] here? |

Re: Flushes don\'t get any worse than this
I don't think I'd ever fold a 3 flush at NL25 unless I had a specific note on the player.
Call. A9/AT/TT/99/A4/T9/44 all play this way. |

A decent player may try to move hero off his hand by representing the flush, maybe with a big diamond as a backup. And a decent player would make a real raise like this. A poor player probably minraises a flush. Or slowplays it. I get all-in here. Take your medicine for not folding preflop, which you should have done. |

all-in at this level...I expect him to have 2-pair or trips enough to make it worthwhile, or even AJ or something.

I am not so sure folding is so cut and dry here either.

Re: Flushes don\'t get any worse than this
but youre beat by 5dxd and up.. do you really want to bet your stack on the worst possible flush? (barring that 5d doesnt hit on the river)

(barring that 5d doesnt hit on the river) [/ QUOTE ] The whole point is that we do not think villain has a flush. Hero's flush is well disguised, so it is quite possible villain is making a play at the pot. You very rarely see a made flush play this way at these stakes. I would not be the least bit surprised to see villain have a set here with one diamond or some other hand that Hero has beat. |
