Hey OOT...it's Thanksgiving this week.
Who eles is venturing to cook their own turkey this year? This will be the recipe I go with. Bottom line, I love turkey, and I love Maker's Mark. This looks to be the greatest idea since eating BBQ ribs while driving. http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/...337/1011/SCENE |

Deep fried turkey is the only way to go. It cooks faster and is moister and juicier on the inside.

Brine and deep fry the turkey.
I've had turducken before, it's pretty good, but a pain in the ass to make. You can order it pre-made, though. |

well, that bourbon turkey recipe sounds pretty good for turkey. My secret recipe usually substitutes a rib roast for the turkey.

Shove a can of beer up its butt, turn upside down and slow cook it.

Stuff the cavity with oranges lemons and all sorts of fresh herbs, rub the outside with dried herbs and olive oil. Cover the breasts with alluminum foil and bake in a baking pan with rack. Best turkey ever if you don't have access to a gigantic deep frier.
