($33) AQs facing large raise 5-handed
What would you do here with AQs? I normally resteal vs. a smaller bet, but he put in half his chips, so presumably i'm not going to push him off the hand. I assume I'm ahead, especially since there's a higher than normal chance that he's on a tilt-raise. But even if ahead, should i be gambling that many chips without a great pair?
I had a little bit of a read on the raiser since the second hand pasted below occured immediately before the one here. ***** Hand History for Game 3012907401 ***** NL Texas Hold'em $30 Buy-in + $3 Entry Fee Trny:17290653 Level:5 Blinds(75/150) - Thursday, November 10, 05:21:15 EDT 2005 Table Table 66962 (Real Money) Seat 1 is the button Total number of players : 5 Seat 9: THE_WEAZ ( $1727 ) Seat 10: ebaudry ( $2930 ) Seat 1: eimutis ( $360 ) Seat 6: THE_CASE_ACE ( $953 ) Seat 7: Johnny_Zion ( $2030 ) Trny:17290653 Level:5 Blinds(75/150) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to ebaudry [ As Qs ] THE_WEAZ raises [900]. ebaudry ??? ***** Hand History for Game 3012906739 ***** NL Texas Hold'em $30 Buy-in + $3 Entry Fee Trny:17290653 Level:5 Blinds(75/150) - Thursday, November 10, 05:20:54 EDT 2005 Table Table 66962 (Real Money) Seat 10 is the button Total number of players : 5 Seat 9: THE_WEAZ ( $2227 ) Seat 10: ebaudry ( $2205 ) Seat 1: eimutis ( $435 ) Seat 6: THE_CASE_ACE ( $1103 ) Seat 7: Johnny_Zion ( $2030 ) Trny:17290653 Level:5 Blinds(75/150) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to ebaudry [ Ad Ks ] Johnny_Zion folds. I'd fold, I think.

Re: ($33) AQs facing large raise 5-handed
I think you fold too. Considering the last hand (and the fact that he committed more than half his stack with the raise) you have little/no fold equity. There's probably a range you could put him on that would make it correct to call, but I don't know. I'm just usually a lot more comfortable taking these situations with some FE...unless you think he's a donk that is scared of busting out I think you wait for a better situation. This may be one of those situations where you're likely ahead but you have to fold anyway.
