whats wrong with the flop bet? what should the flop play be? check/raise? bet-3bet (my likely play)?

and yeah the river call is painful to say the least... an ace a king a potential straight and a cap preflop, and you only have 99... hope you were crying when you hit the button

Ugh...I suck. Pot to big to fold? Or am I the donkey here?

Grunch.
You're behind the whole way here I think with the double limp-reraise.
Call flop to see if you can hit that gut shot or your set.
Call turn to see if you hit your straight... consider folding if you think villains are capable of check-raising here.
Fold river.

I think you should have checked the flop, but assuming CO bet, I want to C/R. If UTG bet, and CO calls, I call. If UTG bet, and CO folds, I'm torn between raising and calling. A UTG LRR seems much more legit than a CO limp/cap.

Call the river is major spewage as others have pointed.
