With limited experience, I think that on a scale from 1 (easy, 2-4) to 10 (hard, 5-10), 3-6 would fall at 3.5. I would also consider the difference between 1 and 10 to be very wide, such that if you're unable to soundly beat 3-6 (6-max), then there's no way that you can beat 5-10 (6-max).
