AA facing large bet on river
Live 2-5 blind Pot Limit. Ten players.
BB and CO are Loose and will call flop and turn with draws and many weak 1 pair hands. Both like to see flop with any suited, and most any connectors. I haven't seen BB bluff very often. My image is TAG. I have played with CO 8 or 10 times. First time with MP. BB $350 MP $500 Hero $280 PF: MP call $5, Hero A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] raises to $25, fold to BB calls $20, fold to MP who calls the raise. Flop: [$60] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] , BB check , MP check , Hero bets $50, , BB calls, MP calls. Turn: [$210] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] , BB check, Hero bet $70, CO calls, BB calls. River: [$420] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] , BB bets $150, MP folds, Hero ??? I think it is obvious that I should have bet more on the turn. I gave the draws a cheap shot at the pot on the turn. Comments on all streets please. |

Re: AA facing large bet on river
I dont understand the action. Did the CO fold preflop? He seems to reappear on the turn!
Given the reads you have, and your stack size, I would push on the turn.. Ojo_Rojo |

Re: AA facing large bet on river
Sorry, CO should be replaced w/MP everywhere in this post.
I agree, my big mistake was not betting the pot on the turn. |

Re: AA facing large bet on river
Does anybody call the river bet by the BB?
