Default anybody in the Party $10 at 8:30 EST?

Just wondering if I can check in on some fellow 2+2ers. Down to about 200, I'm hanging with about 12,000 in chips. Put a good read on a guy earlier after he raised it up and I smooth called with pocket eights. He pushed on a 10 7 3 flop with ace high and I caught him only to turn an ace. I've rebounded. Definitely a roller coaster ride though.

Around 25K in chips, built a nice stack, but I'm playing scared. I'm not used to this, and Im overthinking and playing poorly. Any tips on how to stay within myself?

I'd just play premium hands. This is one of my first PP tournaments, as I am a regular on PokerStars, so without the antes I would just play premium hands. Use the gap concept when calling raises. Re-raise to put pressure on people with the larger hands. Just relax.

QQ against 1010 preflop to get up to 46K. How are you doing? I'm used to STT, so the time this has taken has me really emotionally invovled. I have 30BB, so I can wait for AA, at least for a while, but I also want to stay active and pick up some blinds. Maybe wait until I my stack is smaller in relation to the blinds?

How are you doing?

Goodluck and thanks for the advice.

I'm out. I guess I made an awful read on a guy and made a loose call. I flopped a set of sixes with two hearts on board. I re-raised a guy and he called. Then a third heart came on the turn and he pushed, way overbetting the pot. I should have laid down the set, but called like a donkey and he had K7 of hearts. I was out in 140th.

Congrats on the win, I'm on table 9 with 47K. Check me out if you have the time. I hope I don't have to consider laying down a set.

I think you played it fine. You have to raise there with AQ. That type of stuff will happen. You could have lost more chips if he had around 10,000-15,000, you still have to call.

I'll check in on you now.
