Borgata $175 freeze out
First hand of tournament after a it has been delayed 50 minutes due to computer errors. Villain in this hand is an older lady who is from out of town and who also won this same tournament last night (30 players) and is very talkative during the 50 minutes.
Blinds 25/50 - 5,000 starting chips 30 minute rounds UTG limps, UTG+2 limps, I limp in CO with Ah4h, SB (villain) completes, BB checks. Flop AKQr. Checked to me, I bet 150, SB calls, all others fold. Turn 4 making a insignificant diamond draw (AKQ4 board). SB pulls a stop and go and leads for 200, at this point I feel like she could have anything from a weak ace, KT, QJ, or the dreaded TJ although i think most players would attempt to CR the turn here with TJ. I decide to play it safe and just call. River is an offsuit 6 (AKQ46 board). She checks to me, whats the river play? Whats the play if check-raised? |

Re: Borgata $175 freeze out
Check behind. I don't know why you would bet here on such a coordinated board witha a weak ace.

Post fixed, I have A4, for Aces up, not A3. [/ QUOTE ] I raise her turn bet. But if I played it the way you played it I think I still check behind as a checkraise is going to make me sick. |
