This is Micro Limit... where basically no one raises preflop and a TON of ppl see every flop. I raised on the button here. I know it's not the best place to learn as the play is much different from the higher levels, but I cant play for play money... so what can ya do.
I try to raise with a wide variety of hands because if I dont, litterally EVERYONE will limp in. I'm dealt Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on the button. I raise it up. 4 to the flop. Flop comes, A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] it checks to me. How should I proceed? 3 people are still in the hand. |

I would pot it here to see where I am at.

4-handed, you are likely ahead here. I would pot it and see what happens. If you get played back at, everything will depend on your read of the opponent and whether or not you think they are capable of trying to blow you off your hand with a worse flush.

Ok so I pussed out and checked.
Turn 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] it checks around to me AGAIN. NOW what? |

That card isn't going to help anyone, so I'd say this another opportunity to pot it to find out if anyone has Kx of spades.
I wonder, though, if in this example checking the flop may actually have ended up helping get you action - by waiting until the turn to bet after your preflop raise, you may be seen as representing AAxx, not the flush. It may induce a call from a weaker flush, at least at a microlimit table. (I don't know much about PLO, but I'm trying to learn) |

Pot the flop. You will get raised by far weaker flushes and possibly even broadway straights by weak players that will tend to assume you have AA here.
