Chump or Unlucky (PL high hand betting the 3rd runner runner)

Please explain the rationale behind the check on the river.

If you play a marginal hand because its double suited and you are in position, then not betting this river here would seem to make no sense.

Most flushes will pay you off here since it was runner runner.

Are you simply worried about running into the bare ace bluff? That's a consideration, but not great enough to not try and take the value here IMO.
