So here's the situation. My girlfriend (age 24) is thinking about getting a lower back tattoo, but she is concerned about its appearance later after she has kids (4 years or so down the road). It hadn't occured to me that the skin in that area would be effected that way by pregnancy, but I guess it seems reasonable.
Does anybody here know just how big of an impact pregnancy generally has on the appearance of LBTs? |

LBTs don't look nearly as bad as anything on the front profile after pregnancy. If she's really worried, place it higher up, like between the shoulder blades. Also, stretched black ink can look fine, stretched color looks ridiculous.

My wife has the chinese symbol for "mother" tattooed on her lower back. So go ahead and make fun of her for honoring her dead mother with a tattoo, you heartless bastards. Anyway, she had a baby 8 months ago and I can say for certain it might be the ONE area of her body that didn't drastically change. It looks the same.
