Default Continuing baseball announcer error

Announcers compare a players batting average or power numbers in the playoffs to a regular season. When the playoff numbers are lower, they imply the "not stepping up" factor. Do they not realize the average caliber of pitching goes way up in the playoffs??

Another error that bothers me. With two outs the Astros singled and walked, than the third batter got out, and the announcers made a comment like "Lucky break for the Cards." When it wasn't a lucky break they just got the player out, maybe "They dodged a bullet." or something like that.

pitching stats should go down as well as pitchers face higher caliber hitters.
