Slacker,

If you're planning on going, then I'll be there for sure. See ya at Del Sol.

Watch-Out for Cleinen; he'll "talk your ear off"

Just Kidding = He's a real nice guy......Slacker, on the other hand, is a big Dork & 66's couldn't get laid if he was Yugo's "wingman"

I've got some chips from the Casino del Sol.

I'll likely be in Tuscon this winter, escaping the blistering weather of minnesota. My inlaws have a house in Vantana Canyon (? - not sure if that's right, but it's north central Tuscon). Will have to keep you in mind.

Sorry we missed you, we showed up about 9:00ish. There were still two tables in the tournament going, guess you didn't do very money. Ewing55 joined us as well and popped his B&M cherry (which puts him in charge of the trip report . . . not that there was anything to report).

3/6 limit with (at least) three guys who know what they're doing (Slacker is not included in this count) is neither profitable nor fun.

Dinner at El Minuto was better than the poker. Cleinen just won't shut up.

yeah,

I busted at about 8:30 and took off, sorry I missed you. If I'd played that AQ suited I'd have had TONS of chips and probably would have cruised to the last two tables. . . but I didn't so I didn't 8^D.

Anyway, sounds like some people live in the area, so I'm sure we'll have plenty of chances to get together for drunken debauchery and chip-spewing in the future.

What would you know about Chuy's, Van Horn?
U've probably never been in Texas.

Read about our world's #1 class act eatery in an SI article by J Madden? OK, Ok, At least now we'll give you credit for being able to read.

The enchalada's are FABULOUS! Make sure you get the chips and salza. Tecate or Dos Equis label required reading, Re-read 3 or 4 times, there will be a quiz.

(The little short 50 year old guy that runs up to your table to thank you for coming is Chuy. Say hi to him and Mrs. for me.)

And no the one in Az is not the same. Worth the trip even if you have to run over to West Texas for lunch. (MapQuest says 551 miles from Phx)

First stop @ Chuy's (Van Horn, Tx) was "serendipity"..Stopped in Van Horn cause I knew I didn't want anything to do with EP; motel clerk recommended Chuy's (yes, Chuy welcomed me...I had chile relleno's "OMG")
Second stop @ Chuy's was planned...Traveling across country with Irieguy, his new wife, my old one...when we left Dallas I said "We stop in Van Horn at dusk or my name isn't "SFB""...We made it....Tecate/tequilla(s)/etc. on the patio with the sun stting to west...raining in the east..got drunk/put a move on new daughter-in-law....waycool

Agree!

Chuy's best place known for watching sunsets, rain, getting bashed, good food, and hitting on anybody handy.

Only problem is Chuy's is 550 miles from anywhere. Santa Fe, Ok City, Dallas, San Antonio... In fact, I think there are only three places that are the same distance from here no matter where you are: Heaven, Hell, and Van Horn.
