Celebrity sighting
I'm in AZ visiting family. I went out last night with a buddy from home who just happened to be down here for business. We went to a place called SandBar in Scottsdale. Okay place from what I remember. Anyway, waiting in line for the restroom when I see Mark Grace two spots in front of me. I shake his hand, say hi and tell him I'm looking for a slumpbuster. Good times.

Being very drunk also made it easy. |

Re: Celebrity sighting
One year Larry Walker was hitting close to .400 mid-way thru the year. Walker was playing first base for Colorado at the time, Grace for the Cubs. Grace used hit foot to write in the dirt, "Can you hit .400."
When Walker came out to play first half an inning later, he scratched out his answer: "No. Can you hit .300?" Always liked 'em both not only because they were fine players, but because they didn't take themselves too seriously. |

When would they have the time to do this? And why wouldn't they just ask eachother when one gets a hit and see's the other at first? |

Re: Celebrity sighting
Both were playing first base and they did it after the third out of the inning. They're both good guys with great senses of humor and Grace thought it would be funnier to write it out. Walker trumped him.
