Ideal \"Flop\" Percentage in 2-7 TD
In a full game I usually get to the first draw about 30% of the time, is this a good percentage? Last night I played 2-4 for the firs time and my "flop" percentage was 21% in about 200 hands, which is do a lot to the fact that there is more raising at the 2-4 level then the .25/.5 level where I got to see a lot of free hands from the BB.
Do these percentages sound about right to you guys? |

Re: Ideal \"Flop\" Percentage in 2-7 TD
I don't put much stock in this number.
In my experience you'll get flocks of good starters and the number will go up sometimes, but that's it. I can't see how this number could be used to gage your play, if it's much higher than others, I imagine you'd be playing 2w8 hands too much and three card draws? If it's way tighter, I imagine you wouldn't be defending enough in the blind. Just play the right starters in the right spots and don't worry about it I think. |

IIRC mine tends around 28 in full ring. It's all about understanding the theory and playing the right hands, though, not shooting for a %.
