Help on Two Satellite Bubble Hands
I play the 1 seat for every 6 players satellites on Stars quite often. I do better than average, but think I need some help with my bubble/near bubble thinking (I am decent on the bubble in normal MTTs).
No real good reads, but entire table has been on unpredictable/bad side. For this tourney, 8 places paid seats. Hand 1: 11 remaining, I am 3rd shortest stack, with one smaller stack utg+2. Folded to me with just under 10BB in the hijack w/ KTs. Blinds are mid-big stacks who could fold ITM but don't seem to understand this. Hero . . . ? Hand 2 9 left. I have about 8BB and there is 1 stack smaller than me, about 1/2 my stack. I just need to outlast this player to get a seat. On this hand, small stack is CO. I am UTG+1. 1 fold, I pick up 66. Hero . . ? Any links to good satellite strategy posts are welcome. I saw ansky posted a little while back but no responses. I like these sats but need to clean up my thinking a little bit to improve ROI. |

Re: Help on Two Satellite Bubble Hands
Hand 1 unless the blinds had been calling w/ a really wide range of hands i'm pushing here.. But it would be good to know how many get the seat?
hand 2i think folding/pushing is close, and i'd probably fold it. |

Numerous players at the table are calling in the blinds with A high, and wouldn't put it past these. Calling range is above average. |
