Plain cake donuts form DD. The ones with the little handle that leave them shaped like the letter Q. The best!

From what I can tell, Bavarian cream is a bit lighter than Boston cream. Both are custards; I think Bavarian has some whipped cream in it, and Boston cream has a stronger vanilla taste.
It's been a long time since I've had a donut, so I can't compare the two beyond what little I could find on the Internet. Also, I can't remember if they both have chocolate icing, or if it's just one of them. -McGee |

Did you run out of room in the subject field? I think the word Donut would have fit in there...
Glazed Krispy Kreme's, though. |

[ QUOTE ] oh [censored]. has anyone ever had the entemenns (it's a northeast bakery brand that they sell everywhere) crumbcaked glazed donuts? It's the best donut ever. seriously. I can eat 6-8 of them at once if I wanted. [/ QUOTE ] Yep, they are good. They also make a Devils Food variation on this theme, which isn't as good, IMO. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with this. And I really want it to be good.... |

Are you serious??? You've left out what is undoubtidly the cream of the crop, the peanut donut!
Note: I didn't see any replies, so if anyone has covered this I apologize. I was so appalled at that empty list that I HAD to reply right away. The true question one must ask is: peanut stick or donut-shaped peanut and part II, am I willing to substitute the chocolate peanut donut into the rotation from time to time. Your Welcome, John |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I've never even heard of honey dip. WTF is that? [/ QUOTE ] Regular glazed. [/ QUOTE ] Then why the hell didn't you say that? [/ QUOTE ] Must be a New Hampshire thing. [/ QUOTE ] Honey dipped was the common terminology in Massachusetts. So, it may be a New England thing. |
