Would burning food reduce calorie intake?
As far as I know, calories are basically a unit of energy derived from burning something. If you over-cook something and burn it, would it inturn take down some the caloric intake, simply because you have already wasted some the potential energy?

Maybe, but at the cost of ingesting more carcinogens that result from burnt food.

If you burn food then you reduce the calorific value. Carbon has essentially no calorific value. However, as BluffThis says, you greatly increase your intake of carcinogens. Not a good idea.
