What should I ask for, for my birthday?

I'm gonna be turning 25 and I need some gift ideas to give my family and girlfriend. I don't really need anything this year so I'm struggling for ideas, so I've come to you guys. I'm into sports and a bit of a techie and other normal mid 20's guy stuff.

Let me hear some good ideas,

Just ask them for gift cards/cash for the main gifts. Having to return [censored] that doesn't fit/isn't what you really wanted is stupid.
