Book Purchase Help
I've been playing NLHE for about a little less than a year now. I'm not that horrible but I really want to improve my game, and I don't think any basic book would help. Usually I play NLHE single table tourneys with friends, cash and multi-tables are occasional too. If I could get 1 and only 1 book (I'll eventually get many but just to start...), which would be the best choice? Books like Harrington on HE, SSHE, and TOP seem to be popular, but I want everyone's opinion. Also keep in mind I pretty much only play NL, and I thought SSHE was for limit.

Re: Book Purchase Help
The One and only book is in my opinion TOP.
But I don't think for beginner! |

Re: Book Purchase Help
Since you are a no limit player and want to start with one book then I would strongly suggest getting Harrington's book. (you eventually want to get both...since it is two volume series) This book is probably the best out on the market for no limit hold em tournament play. Good Luck

Which is TOP? [/ QUOTE ] Theory of Poker by Sklansky. It would get my vote as well. |

Re: Book Purchase Help
I just quickly scrolled back through the last 50-60 threads on this forum, and saw at least 10 threads on this topic.
You would benefit by doing likewise. |
